I had honestly never heard Tom Waitts nor had I known it was a cover album. So I saw an interview with her about how much she really enjoyed his lyrics and music and decided to try her own hand at his tunes. After I poked around Waitts' greatest hits I totally understood it. I had a greater respect for it. I don't think most people would have got it these days and I totally applaud her for not doing a shitty pop album. I mean if you listen to Lindsey's new single it makes you want to puke because that is the norm now a days, it is what is forced down everyone's throats.
