Greedy kid. I am a stepmom who has lost all of her savings and retirement when things got tough and child support had to be paid or my husband went to jail. The kids don't know everything parents discuss and decide. His eyes, please! He and she helped someone, and his father is living through someone else. Team Stepmom.

I am probably going to expect the same from my stepdaughters one day. Their mother is a money grubbing whore (10 kids - 7 different dads) who doesn't work, only collects child support. She teaches the kids that gifts are the only way to show love. I had to pay for groceries and alot of the bills when the kids were living with us - now child support is nearly breaking us. If my husband were to die, I would be taken care of and they'd no doubt come knocking on my door with palms open. Chris should be happy to have had a father and known him. Money is not that important. The fact that the other son and granddaughter are being gifted upon shines a little light on the subject that maybe Chris isn't telling the whole truth and maybe he's just a greedy little shit on a smear campaign. Just my $.02

DIJordan said it perfectly. There is such a sense of entitlement. Jerry chose how much, when or if they get anything.

Losing someone close is EXTREMELY hard (I lost 2 in 14 months), but how amazing for a part of them to have lived on by donating an organ. His kid needs to stop be narcissistic and see if for what it is. Perhaps if they waited longer the eyes couldn't be used.

Chris you better start kissing your step mothers ass. Personally I think they built a life together. He didn't have anything when he married her and "they" built what money "they" had and his wife should have everything.

While it's always nice to be remembered, in a Will....it is not mandatory to leave anything to the kids.
Mr. Orbach earned his money, and he was entitled to leave it to whomever he chose. As far as I can see....he did the right thing, by providing for his wife. The kids need to go out, get a job and make their own way in the world....instead of waiting for their parents to die. Personally, I hope that the step-mom spends every penny, before she passes on.

Donating ones eyes is such a noble thing to do - I don't see why he would contest his father's eyes being used to help someone living to see again; or for the first time. Its an unnerving procedure to think about for a patient (I'm a nurse and have witnessed many families making organ donation decisions) and those who do it have my tremendous respect - especially since my mother is a kidney recipient and I also will be in the future. To deny another a healthy organ when you can donate for is beyond tacky. He has no right to judge his father's or stepmother's decision.

[re=2743477]Re: tess[/re] I've lost a parent too, but I didn't trash my dad's wife. I don't care if it's misplaced grief, he should have mroe respect for the woman his father loved for over 20 years and who appears to trying to do right by the kids.
