2) With regards to the 'redneck' comment - it was about Americans who still believe that McCain can do some good to the country. It has been ruined by Bush and now will be squashed by McCain. The world is in a state of havoc! Do you travel? Then if you do, you would realize that! That is what I meant by that. Obama is our only, slightest glimmer of hope in this major mess that the president has put us in (Vietnam, anyone?).
We are temporarily living in Europe and honey, you don't want to pay our taxes, trust! We pay taxes to both countries (I guess you didn't know that!) - just mouthing off, right! Oh, and regards to pea brain - Masters degree in Science.

Re: john – I have read the book on the CIA and it states that many weeks before 9/11 the president was warned many, many times and did nothing - he was at his ranch for a 5 week vaca (do you get a 5 week paid vaca?). Just asking?
As regards to the 'redneck' comment - maybe I should have been more specific in what I wanted to say - uneducated(not necessarily in the academic way), uninformed, untravelled American and unfortunately there are a lot out there. I'm just happy my children had the chance to see something else.
Oh, and America is very hypocritical - that's where I got it from!
God forbid you'd should a 'nipple slip' on tv, but then they 'show' it (with it censored) a gazillion times stating that it's a 'scandal'. Open your mind, look around!

ugh, this makes me ill - it's the same ol' same ol' - hip to be for Obama, with no subtance. The difference in '00 and '04 is that they did not have rockstars….now they have a movie star to play the role. I love Gwyneth as an actress and can overlook her political stance….

It's pretty entertaining to read these comments. One of the few that made any sense was the one that talked about "researching the issues and the candidates".

i am amazed at how little we all know about Obama. It's as though the less we know the better - because if we actually knew how he voted and "lead" in his public life, then he would stop being a savior to all of the haters and he would actually become a human being with a voting record. Nobody talks about him that way. The media is having such a love affair with him - that it usually backfires on them. They are setting themselves up to be blindsided -the second Obama has to really show up and talk about his stances in anything but a scripted speech perfect for sound bytes, then the weakness of the candidate will be hard to ignore. The haters will still ignore because they would vote for anyone who isn't a Republican (can you imagine anyone saying McCain is just like Bush and keeping a straight face?). It's the Independents you have to be careful about - because they will get too nervous about having such a weak candidate become our leader.

By the way, I don't care what Obama looks like, and I definitely don't care where he worships or who he hangs with - I care about how he votes and how he leads. I think he's a paper tiger.

Most of Hollywood don't have high school degrees… so please don't listen to them on how to vote.

People who live abroad, and all of us, need to educate ourselves about the issues and then make a decision.
