Re: USA – OH, and if you actually understood British politics, you'd realise the Royal Family have had very very little influence on Politics for a very long time indeed. Granted, they're allowed their say and have a higher platform to stand on, but they're allowed that right, its their country too.

Re: USA – We have them because they bring a HUGE amount of money in for the economy And only cost us something like £1.40 per person of the population? I think its rather good value for money if you ask me. And plus its our culture….americans have beef jerky…whatever that is…and Europeans have Royalty who do a lot for their country, i.e. Prince Andrew flew his helicopter to my school, just because! no real reason, which was rather nice of him considering his busy schedule.

This isnt about class - Chinawhites cannot be seen to associate themselves with another brand, and Jordan is obviously a very big brand which does not have the same image. Yes its snobbery, but do you really blame them? I wouldnt want to be associated with jordan in any way thanks…

Just because someone is born into money it doesn't mean they are any more refined. Usually, it's the opposite. If she can compete and has demonstrated the necessary skills, should she be able to attend. The monarchy needs to remember the French Revolution…it's about time that such an antiquated system be finally removed
