SOOOOO Perez I absolutely love u but i need to let u know something!!!!! You are over generalizing in this situation. You put the header of this article as Dear Colorado and as a Coloradan i find this extremely offensive. This isn't Colorado as a whole. This is an isolated situation. If anything the story that should follow Dear Colorado should be how Trinidad, Colorado is called the sex change capital of the world!!!!!! Here in Colorado we are extremely welcoming and open to not only Transgenders but also to Homosexuals. Yes this is a horrible thing that did happen in Colorado but how DARE u try to put this on Colorado!!!!! maybe u should just put ur foot in ur mouth and rewrite ur Dear Colorado article!!!!! o by the way i also live in Greeley where this happened so I really know what I'm talking about!!!!!

Good God, I understand that there are going to be people that leave negative comments, but some of these people should be ashamed of themselves. Oh yes, it makes perfect sense, talk about what God wants and then cuss up a storm about it. Makes perfect sense. I have a gay dad and I can't sit here and read these comments without commenting myself. If you can't accept people who are different than you, then shut up. Simple as that.

This is a very tragic and unfortunate. But people need to use common sense when going into situations like this. Hooking up with someone without being honest about who (or what) you are can easily lead to dangerous situations. Here in Nebraska we saw a similar case with a transgendered person who called herself Teena Brandon (made famous by the movie “Boys Don’t Cry”).
