She was singing I believe Frank Sinatra songs and the film features Stuart Townsend before his "Queen of the Damned" days.... so I think Ms. Hudson will do perfectly fine as she is a talented actress. I must note also that she wasn't singing them in a comedy... she was truly trying to sing the songs, so the "How to Lose a Guy in 10 Days" example is a poor one since she was trying to be funny.
