If someone is willing to pay them millions for the photos there is no reason not to take the money and donate it. Plus, contracting with a magazine for the photos helps cut down on the paparazzi madness that could ensue if they HADN't sold the photos to one magazine. Can you imagine what a coup it would be for the photo agency/magazine that snapped the first candid pics? Selling the photos helps protect the safety of the entire family in the long run.
