Being a terrible mother is worse than being a shitty husband! What good mother purposefully exposes her children to public humiliation by airing their dirty laundry! This woman just can't pick the right husband. Not sure what happened with her first husband, Billy Joel was drunk and supposedly cheated on her, her third husband lost all his money and went broke and this 4th guy is a sex maniac. The only fault Christie has is being dumb. She wanted to see things the way she wanted to see until someone calls him out.

Christie was a long time Hampton resident and so was Peter Cook. Hampton is a small community. Before becoming her husband, Peter Cook had quite a reputation in Hampton for being a douche bag, playboy, womanizer…you name it. It's not that hard for Christie to know that. I am sure her friends (living in Hampton or having relatives in Hampton) had heard things and warned her as well but she refused to see what she needed to see.

Also there's signs the guy is a douche bag like she paid for everything to support their lifestyle and Peter was abusive to Alexa (her daughter with Billy Joel). And she let it all slide until the guy was caught cheating? Isn't she dumb or what?

I don't know what she saw in him. Maybe she wanted to marry a guy looking good on red carpet with her. She was able to pay all the bills and let her daughter endure Peter Cook's verbal abuse. Now she looks so bad because of Peter Cook.

You can't blame her going public about the details of her divorce. She has every right to call this guy out so other dumb women won't fall for his lies and sweet talks.

A serious narcissistic person will sell his kid out for his own gain. I know so because I know people like that. I have seen it. So there's no need to worry that the kids are hurt badly because their father's public image is ruined. If you hide these ugly things from the kids, they will find out their father is a douche bag by being screwed by their dad. That will be even more hurtful. At least, they will be careful with their dad from now on to prevent being used or hurt by their dad. It's better to find out early than later. Being born to a douche bag, you are already screwed no matter how adults try to hide things and pretend it's ok. At least you can know the fact and protect yourself from the douche parent.
