jessica alba is wretched and it's true that she has never CARRIED a film that has done well. she may have been part of an ensemble in a couple of things that did alright but everything she's headlined has pretty much tanked. it would be a huge mistake to cast her as barbarella. rose would be perfection. lezlo would suffice if she could get her nasty saggy body in shape and get all of her freckles removed and stay out of the sun for a year or so. she's starting to look like magda from something about mary, and her marilyn spread was embarassing.

The actress is starring in three of her fiancé’s upcoming projects – Barbarella, Red Sonja and Woman in Chains! – despite reports to the contrary, according to her rep.

“The production of all three films is moving forward with Rose to star,” the rep tells People exclusively.

As for claims that the couple have called off their engagement, a source close to McGowan says, “She and Robert are fine.”

McGowan, 34, and Rodriguez, 40, announced their engagement in October 2007.
