So I doubt that it's truly going to happen. However, they did the same with Dirty Dancing, rumoring it for years, saying that Ricky Martin and Natalie Portman were the stars, and then it came out years and years after I read about it... I dunno about this though. If it's a retelling-with-an-awesome-twist type of thing, like Dirty Dancing: Havana Nights was, then I'm all for it. If it's something like the title "32 Candles"suggests, NO! They have to consider their target audiences and what they want... So I doubt that John Hughes would stoop to that.
