I just watched a documentary this week about the legendary boxer, Joe Louis. Louis inspired millions of Americans and donned the uniform and served in WWII. But he came home to a segregated America and found himself in debt and with an I.R.S. problem. Even though he tried to pay off the debt, it reached a point where the government was taking 90% of his earnings to satisfy the fees and penalties. Nevermind he was a father, nevermind his valiant service in the military. He was mercilessly pursued and persecuted.

I can't help but support Wesley Snipes' tax dodging. The government has royally screwed a lot of people. The time has come to show them what we think about them.

actually, they have to let him take the jobs, else they are preventing him from gaining employment in his field. really i dont see what the problem is anyway…hes not a flight risk, and hes not convicted of a violent crime so he is no threat to society. l

why is this guy going to jail again? why don't they just fine him? the prisons are full of people who don't belong there.

they should send 2 marshalls to follow him around, and make him pay for them. then he can make the money to pay the fine.
