yeah definitely not JT's fault. if anything, he HELPED the movie out by looking so damn sexy. jessica alba sucks…and i hate to say it…but i don't think people find mike myers that funny anymore…i know i don't.

and hey…alpha dog was good…so obviously it's not the justin curse!!!

I just don't like Jessica Alba as an actress. Nothing really against her personally but I just don't find her funny or believable.

Just about every comment I've read her about the different Don't Call Me Latina stories all hate her and agree that all her movies bomb. Anyone in Hollywood who has 3 or 4 movies bomb as a lead actress is never heard from again. So there has to be something else going on behind the scenes.
Here is my theory about Jessica Alba's popularity with Hollywood executives:
In this day of political correctness, each race has to be represented or else they get protests than kill the movie and the studio. The unique thing about Alba is that by casting her, the check off the boxes for racial diversity quotas for the three main race special interest groups with one person: She is 1. part black. 2. part Hispanic. 3. part White. They think you are stupid enough that simply because you are black you will go see a movie that stars a black person (Driving Miss Daisy?) or that if you are Hispanic, you'll go see a Latina.
She also appeals to them for the same reason that Barack Obama does.
She is a white person with brown skin.

It's very telling that while she only has a supporting role in the movie, they are making her the girl they use to promote the movie when they show pictures, not the lead actress. Look at how they have her flash her entire body and as much skin as they can–legs and cleavage. She's not the lead actress but she is getting top billing, even above Myers.

I guess they learned from Sin City to use her to promote the movie as a model but to keep her out of the movie as much as possible so that people don't see her acting. She gets all the credit for Sin City when in fact she was simply on the cover and only had a small, minor part.

I don't know why she keeps getting roles when all her movies bomb, which isn't an accident.

It's not him, the trailer sucks and the movie will too. I'm not even going to rent this when it goes to DVD.
