Wow, for Christians that are supposed to "love thy neighbor" you guys seriously show no respect for your neighbors. While everyone has a right to their opinion, why not try changing yourselves a little and be respectful about it. Maybe then you will get respect back.

As for this lovely couple, more power to them.

Matthew 21:22: This verse you have misquoted. It actually reads: "If you believe, you will receive whatever you ask for in prayer"

Matthew 10:34-35: This goes along with Luke 12:51 (see above explanation)

Deuteronomy 10:34-35: More old testiment law.

1 Corinthians 14:34-35: When reading this verse, you have to understand that this book of the Bible is a letter from Paul to the Corinthian church. The Corinthian church had lots of problems, and apparently one of them was disorderly worship. Paul told them this because he wanted order in the church. This was also in the time when women were seen as inferior. It would not be an insult to the women of that era, nor was it meant as one.

I hope that clears everything up.

There seems to be some confusion about meaning behind these versus you posted. Maybe you were misguided? I'd just like to clear some things up to make sure that there's no misunderstanding.

Exodus 21:20-21: This verse is found in the old testiment. These were the customs of people before the birth of Jesus. These are the rules Jesus replaces with love and salvation. These are the rules the wicked Pharacies obsess over. This is not the law of Christianity today.

Isaiah 13:18: This verse is telling how the evil in the hearts of the Babylonian's hearts was going to cause them to be judged and punished by God. This means that the Babylonians were doing these things, not Christians.

Exodus 21:15: More old testiment law

Matthew 5:17: This verse simply states that Jesus is fulfilling prophesy. It actually reads simply: "Do not think that I have come to abolish the law or the prophets; I have not come to abolish them but to fulfill them." When Jesus came, there was a new way of life. That's it.

Romans 1:30-32: This verse shows that God is merciless to those who reject him and his beautiful gift to mankind: salvation

Luke 12:51: This verse tells about how everyone who hears the word of God may not accept it, therefore causing controversey. It is not his intention or his pleasure to cause division, it just happens because of human sinful nature.
