Money donated is given directly to the cause. Southern Sudan was ravished by 21 years of civil war with northern Sudan, this is a separate but related conflict to the conflict in the Darfur regions. The people in Southern Sudan want education and this organization was started by a group of Sudanese who came to America as refugees and now want to go back and rebuild their nation. This organization is not just throwing money to an unsustainable project. It is crucial that an educational infrastructure be build in southern Sudan, how can you deal with all those other issues such as developing their economy, having sustainable teachers and doctors if you don't create the institutions to develop those things. The first school just opened and is a sign of the organizations great success. The NESEI school has very smart well educated teachers at their first school and pays them well. This is a great organization, thank you to everyone who is contributing to it! Also, it is beneficial to us all to create sustainable development like what NESEI is doing.
