Has everyone forgotten the DODO ads? They were brilliant. They wouldve cost about 50c to make. And DoDo is the dodiest crappiest internet provider in OZ so they chose the right frontperson. Y!anks we do not want her she is just all we can afford! Altho by the looks of your economy you wont even be able to afford her soon. BURN !

As an Australian, I will confidently speculate as to why BB is sending Tara into the house and also attempt to debunk allegations that we think she's awesome…

Australians - with all due respect - love taking the piss out of pretty much anything and Hollywood is no exception.

There's a tremendous amount of irony to any appearances on AUS TV that Tara may do. Yes, we know she's D-list, yes we know she's a has-been, but many of us find that incredibly funny and cathartic. What's also amusing is that her career now amounts to advertising an Australian broadband provider and being an intruder on Big Brother.

Understand that we're not embracing Tara Reid - we're laughing at her and everybody like her because any Australian with a modicum of intelligence is baffled and somewhat amused by the 'cult of celebrity' that exists in the US.

It will be a cold day in hell before a 'tabloid-fangirl' succeeds in making Australians look like the 'village idiots'. Nice try, though.

Tara isn't big in Australia, but there's a very powerful Advertising / PR guy here who has a crush on her. He pulls strings and gets her work, whilst the rest of the population are left scratching their heads wondering why.

Like Number 31 Said. We dont want her either. Im from Aus, Born and Bred Here, and the only reason she is going on the show is because no Australian Talented Starts will because it's a LAME ASS Show!!

And as for her appearing on Big Brother. I Hope Not!!! Its bad enough already.
