hallo….when Sharon Stone said these things…..what is the difference with right-wing Christians who say this or that natural disaster is a form of punishment from God? Dont u think those comments are deplorable and actually bankrupt the concept of Christianity? And when Sharon Stone, who is not a Buddhist apparently, make these comments, dont u think she just bankrupted Buddhism?

The many victims of the earthquake are actually also ethnic Tibetans. She didnt know, that area is a mixed-ethnicity area, alot of Tibetans live there. The 'karma' for 'bad treatment of Dalai Lama' has claimed the lives of many Tibetan children. In some perfectures and counties, the percentage of ethnic Tibetans are close to half. If I tell this to her, would this embarass her?

Doesn't anyone remember this woman suffered a horrific brain injury ? She's doing amazingly well and making misstatements is pretty normal for that type of injury. Have some compassion people !!

First of all the clip was edited. The entire story is in the the New York Times. Sharon was telling the reporter about the fundraising organization that was been set up to help the victims. But, they erase everything she was saying to the part to Karma. Sharon wasn't talking about the citizen of China. She was talking about the Government. Everything was distorted. Even her apology was rewritten to make her look bad. This is where in the world we have reach, where wrong is right, and right is wrong. Now Sharon is being blame for something that was taken out of context. We are asking everybody in China who was the news media that tape the comment? The name was blurred out on the clip. Why would they blurred out the name if they were legit?
