Thirty years ago the first Earth Day
was started.
Why was it started?
To combat the coming GLOBAL COOLING!
.
Please, no one point out that
fact to Al Gore.
It just gets his panties into a wad.

It will be interesting in about 10 years when the evidenced is incontrovertable that there is no such thing as permanant Global Warming caused my Humans. The earth has been cooling for about 10 years (says NASA) and it is only the billion dollar wave created by greedy politicians (Gore) and hack college professors making a living with research grants that is keeping the hoax alive. Funny how 20 to 30 years ago Time magazine had a cover story devoted to the immediate devastation caused by Global COOLING. This is what happens when the school system fails. A country of schooled but uneducated idiots. Perez is one of them. A fun guy but an intellectual idiot. I wonder if Gore will give back his Nobel Prize. Kind of have a feeling he will just kind of slink away.

[re=2236718]Re: B[/re] No warm weather doesn't kill but huge bodies of water does. If the planet is unusually warm for years and years then the ice caps melt causing floods and eventually making the world unlivable!

[re=2236728]Re: laura[/re] I was out in the desert near Palm Springs yesterday. the Coachella Pass is one big wind farm, and I like it. I have taken visitors from around the world out there and most people don't mind it at all. There is something actually quite beautiful in the melding of earth and technology. However, maybe you like coal mines instead? Not aesthetically more pleasing in my mind. they do employ more humans though, so maybe that is a consideration?
