Paul couldn't have been too bad to live with.

HE left HER, HE divorced HER, she didn't leave him. She would have stayed with him, because as she's finding out, she is NOTHING without Paul's fame and popularity. She loved the life of a Beatle's wife, and was pissed when she was dumped.

Paul had a serious lapse of good judgment, and paid for it.
Sad thing is, if Linda hadn't died, he would still be in one of the most successful celebrity marriages, and living on the farm they both loved.
