It has been a while, but when I think of it, Donnie Whalberg was the "Bobby Brown" of New Kids, Joey MCintyre was vocally the "Ralph Tresvant" and Jordan Knight was the "Ricky Bell".
Heck both New Edition and New Kids had the same manager, Maurice Starr.
Old memories come back when I think about the time when the boy band thing was a somewhat new blueprint to become a quote/unquote "mainstream phenomenon".

YUM!!! I love me some Donnie!! Saw the New Kids rehears at the house of blues 2 nights ago and let me just say… they tore it up!!! Forget the fact that I am a New Kids fan, they honestly put on an amazing performance!!
