It's sunk to a new low, by casting obvious "types" for the supposed "top" contestants. The song choices are not so great anymore, and even the judges responses are beginning to be predictable. It's pretty hard to stomach, the "rocker dude", the "young underdog singer", "the soul singer", the "rebellious rocker chick singer", the "country singer", it just goes on. The show doesn't seemed to be based on real talent anymore, just "type." I honestly think the American public is getting smarter, and catching on to this type of manipulation.
