I am an educated person and I also come form a country were there was war for years. I am not giving you my view from an American perspective. I am not saying communism is good. Of course not but ,when Cubans arrive in America they get immediate legal residency and lots of cash to talk crap about how bad Cuba is. If they're immigrants from other countries they send them back to Cuba. You may have to bring your linens to a hospital but they will not charge you for curing your illness. I think that;s a samll price to pay. How can you even say that bringing your own stuff is as bad as thousands of dollars that we have to pay here. I am sorry about your grandfather but at least he received free care. In other Latin countries he would have died before even seen by a doctor. That's all I'm saying. communism is not perfection but neither is our so called democracy.

1- cubans are intelligents - you wont get paid for your knowledge
2-free health care- when you bring your own medicine to the hospital
3-food? o yea when you find it
4-clothes– when they come from el Norte
5-freedom- unless you are a pig then u dont need it

so ppl go and live in Cuba like cubans do , not as a tourist, not as a journalist, but a real hard working cuban and lets talk then

u dont know what is like to be taken from your Cuba,Cuba here now and when we die we are always Cubans no matter what

u left your country for the dollarzz we left our country for our freedom and we are all entitled to have it,

so hush already and try to understand us when you are given the chance to be born in Cuba , there is nothing in the world to compare with what is like to a Cuban !!!!!!

This movie is complete bullshit. This lady has no idea what she is talking about. Fidel Castro is the best thing to ever happen to Cuba, she is bitter because she is a exile living in Miami having to pay for healthcare and education. She only wishes you lived in Cuba under the presidency of her "father". I want DNA proof that she is really Fidel's kid. And Perez take your head out of your ass, have you ever been to cuba? Do you really know anything about your heritage? Do you know anything about anything? Shut the fuck up, this movie is full of american propoganda.

My boss, who helped many defectors, determined she was a nutjob and did not move forward with her. She wants to be famous is all, maybe she will finally get that… Don't believe everything you hear…

miami was not made by cubans. the rich cubans fled cuba and built a rich life in miami. insuring that any cuban that escapes cuba gets a good life in miami and no one else if you are hatian, dominican, chinese, non-cuban they will send you back. they have taken control of miami and its lawmakers and just go on and on about how Fidel is so bad when all we see are more cubans acting just like dictators. most cubans vote republican and are super racist. (which is against their own interests, but again its a racist mentality that comes with being rich and thinking your better than everyone or just ignorant) there was a time when they were even racist to one of their own (celia cruz, cubas most famous singer) its a shame how they say they built miami….thats probably why miami is a broke ass city now …its glamour is all fake. its shit. i wish cubans would just be less arrogant and if you come to this country…. at least try to be an american. you come to this country to be united with people who all want a better life.

Re: Lunna Sanz – in response to Lunna. I have to point out a few things about your post! First of all Cuban does have free education and I think that is great, but under the Cuban Regime, What do people do with their education NOTHING! They can't get work!

Also, i am a big advocate of free healthcare, but in Cuba there are is no Medicine. Cubans in Cuba have to depend on their family in the US to send them their medications! My great grandfather passed away in Cuba and was dependent on my Grandmother in Miami to send him his medication. Now you tell me, is this really "FREE"???

Also, did you know that cubans have to take their own linens to the hospital? That they do not have wheelchairs for their sick patients, that they ship all of their good doctors overseas for the government's monitary gains? Before you make statements like you do, you must educate yourself a little bit more as to what the Cuban reigme is really like!

In response to the poster above. Obviously i am Cuban and very proud of my heritage, but i need to let you know a few TRUTHS about Cubas "free eductation and healthcare" First of all, i agree that Cubans in Cuba are highly educated, but when they graduate what can the do with all their knowledge? NOTHING! There is no work! they can't make any money in their professions.

Also, i agree free healthcare is great! but in Cuba's regime there is no MEDICINE! PEOPLE CANNOT GET THEIR MEDICATIONS BECAUSE THEY ARE SCARCE! The only reason she is pissed at Castro is because she was not a legitimate daughter and Castro was not a good father to her. It has nothing to do with Cuba. It;s just politics so that the Cuban exile in Miami fills her pockets with cash for talking about how bad Daddy was. Hipocrites! Cubans have free education, free healthcare and more! Stop listening to US politics and really focus on the good that Cuba has. Free education? not even in the States.
