A legal loophole?! It's called the justice system, ever heard of it? "Innocent until proven guilty". There were no drugs shown, they can't prove she bought any, there's no case. Period.

Yet another example of how the wealthy and powerful can afford to worm their way around legal troubles while we ordinary people always get the shaft. Legalize drugs and increase jail time for DUI, purchasing for minors, etc. and lets get on with our lives.

That's not a legal loophole. it's common sense and part of the basis of the rules of evidence. You've got to prove beyone a reasonable doubt. With no field or lab testing to definitively say what she was buying, of course they don't have a case.

What is sick is that despicable man has custody of Michael Hutchence's daughter, Tiger Lily, and is trying to adopt her and change her name. What is wrong with the courts that they wouldn't place this child with the Hutchence family in Australia? Instead they put the poor child with her dead mother's EX-husband, and his good-for-nothing messed-up daughters?

Geldof is a hateful man, carrying out his sick vendetta until the day HE dies I suppose.
