If you thought that was bad you should have seen Heikki Kovalainen's wreck in the F1 grand prix the other day….. statisically, he should be dead, but he surivived (thank God).
This is nothing compared to that.

Stremme deserves a lot of credit for stepping up and helping out an ex-owner that basically screwed him out of a cup career. I wanted Stremme to win so he could prove Ganassi wrong, at the same time I hate seeing Ganassi win anything.

Re: Brooke – When was the last time YOU hit concrete at 200 MPH. Until you have maybe you should shut up. It wasn't a bad wreck there HAVE been worse. And even NASCAR said that the senior crash wasn't bad, if he would have been wearing the right safety gear he would still be alive.

There have been way worse wrecks than that one, did you see the one with Casey Mears a couple months ago that one was a lot worse.

Re: palmettogirl – The device you are avoiding naming, is called the Hans device and dear, please allow me to educate you a little on the wrecks in Nascar. Flipping a car, releases energy and less harm to the driver. A head on collosion is deadly. It is a blunt force trauma which kills most drivers. While the flipped cars make a better show, it's not what scares these drivers. Head on into the wall, that's a Nascar drivers worse nightmare. Consider yourself informed.

Re: Fuck off – I am a married 37 year old woman, one child. My husband and I own our home, all 5000 square feet of it, including the inground pool in our back five acre yard. We own a speed boat and a lake house and I drive a 2008 Chevy Tahoe, which we paid cash for. My husband and I both have been nascar fans since we were children. We attend approx 2 to 3 races a year and never miss one on tv. So, please take your little small mind and close the door to your little apartment on your way to the unemployment line, if you have enough gas money to get you there.

Dario was injured. His left ankle is broken. He'll miss several months of racing although he said he was still fine to drive. Racers dont really NEED to use their left foot except for getting out of the car in the event of fire. Which is why he wasnt cleared to race. He had to be helped to the ambulance because he couldnt walk. Most of you say "this wreck isnt so bad". Obviously you know nothing about the Nationwide Series cars or the fact that the replay was in slow motion. They dont have the same foam padded wall as Cup cars. Therefore the idiot who was racing 6 SECONDS behind Dario smashed into the driver side at 160mph throwing his left foot into the side of the brake pedal. The crash never should have happened. The driver and his spotter are both to blame. I feel bad for Dario. He was finally getting a handle on these cars.

yes, dario is a nascar driver for those idiots here that do not know shit about nascar. that race was a nascar nationwide series race, a minor league of the nextel cup. there was a major crash after dario hit the wall.

suprised that a nascar race was actually on perez.
