"Silent Rave" is euphemism for flash mob. Arrest and execute them without a trial. They do not deserve due process.

Thanks for posting this, Perez!
This was not a demonstration. They did not have enough people to require any sort of permit regardless. They WERE quiet, unlike many groups passing through usually (student groups on a field trip, for example). They did it late at night (11:55 PM) and quietly to be sure they were not disturbing anyone - only for five minutes (that was their plan). The girl that was arrested has merely asked why she was being asked to leave - how dancing was disruptive, etc. - very calmly. TJ once said, “Dancing is a healthy and elegant exercise, a specific against social awkwardness.” - thus, the reason why they were doing it in his honor.
By the by - yes, TJ was for following the laws, but he was also adamant that laws protect the natural rights of every person and be just, and followed more along the lines that things which are not prohibited should be permissible.
If anyone is interested, look up Free the Jefferson 1 - there's information on how you can contact and complain about this, or donate to Brooke's (the arrested one) legal defense fund.
It's about the principle of it, not that you find dancing there silly. Come on, people.

As I was passing by this mess in a cab I saw a guy with blood all over him running with a mob after another guy. Very peacful.
