Re: liz – Obviously you never watched the TV show and don't know what you're talking about. Magda was the housekeeper and she didn't have a stroke. It was Steve's mom, Mary, who had the stroke and has Alzheimer's.

And you're right. I don't think the majority of these people even watched the TV show regularly… they're calling it Sex IN the city.. hello! It's Sex AND the city… who, who watched it regularly, would make that mistake?

Given that they had Cynthia Nixon drop this comment, I'm guessing that it will be Steve's mom. She has alzheimers already and since she and Steve are having problems, I think this will be used as the catalyst to reunite them.

I very much doubt it's Big. He's too central a character to kill off.

IF ANYBODY DOES ANY SATC SEARCHING, YOU WILL FIND A CLIP OF CARRIE BEATING BIG WITH HER BOUQUET SAYING "YOU HUMILIATED ME" AND THINGS LIKE THAT. OBVIOUSLY HE CHEATS OR SOMETHING. Cynthia said it was someone Close to CARRIE, so people like Steve, his mother, Harry etc are probably not the unlucky one. It could be her new assistant (the American Idol girl I think it was) who could become close to Carrie, Big or Stanford. I doubt it would be one of the girls (they have talked about a sequel and without all 4 girls it would never work). However, Big has been such a huge part of the show that it would be wierd if a sequel were to be made without him popping up, although his "spirit" would linger, for it would be all that Carrie would talk about probably. However, before the movie was in the works, Chris Noth (Big) said that the script called for Mr Big to die, so perhaps when the finally decided to go throught with the movie they used that script.
