How about you shut up complaining about someones choice to do something that doesn't effect you.

If it bothers you so much then just dont go to the exhibition.

I thought about it and understood why she did it for art but the fact that she is killing life like that is infact wrong. It doesnt make sense why she would do that. So many girls who have been raped or on birth control who got pregnant and are to young get abortions. They do this because they need to go to school, have a future. SHe abused this completely. This will make everyone think differently about abortions mainly because of her wrong doing. Then again maybe people wont abort anymore? Its 50/50 with me. Because Theres a negative to this project and a positive.

I'd love to see the exibit!
There has always been people that move art discourse ahead and address the issues around commodity/expression and integrity in art...
I dont know if its pretty but certainly blood, menstral or otherwise has been used in art for eonss. I think the people getting all excited over the issue of day or week or two week "tissue" which is all it is at that point are feeding into the artists intent - that is brilliant as it gets attention that otherwise might just be curiosity...
Congradulations to her and hopefully she goes on to even more important political/artistic endevours!

That is so disgusting...she is not having an abortion as a choice she needs to make....she forced herself to have multiple abortions as "art." She is sick. What a total disregard to human life. Bitch.

Performance art is art in which the actions of an individual or a group at a particular place and in a particular time constitute the work. It can happen anywhere, at any time, or for any length of time. Performance art can be any situation that involves four basic elements: time, space, the performer's body and a relationship between performer and audience. It is opposed to painting or sculpture, for example, where an object constitutes the work. Of course the lines are often blurred. For instance, the work of Aliza Shvarts is considered by most to be "performance art", yet the performers are actually machines.

Although performance art could be said to include relatively mainstream activities such as musterbation..
