Thanks for remembering us Perez! As a junior at the Virginia Tech, I just want to say that no school can compare to Virginia Tech.

For all the people that think we should recognize our students lost as 33, we should only recognize the 32 names of the victims. Why would we want to recognize and remember someone who caused so much damage to all of us? We do not want him remembered, we want to remember the lives and families and memories of all the people lost. Thank you for not including him in your number Perez.

Some of you need to stop being so insensitive. If you don't care about the VT tradgedy, don't waste your time commenting on it. Some of us care a lot and lost loved ones so let us remember in peace.

First, I want to thank you for acknowledging such a tragic event, it means a lot to not only me, a Virginia Tech student that was there that day, but also to the VT community. but I am really shocked at some of the comments about it not being a big deal because people get shot everyday. and especially this comment, "when white people get shot and die it becomes news….i just don't get it. people get shot eveyday, give me a break!" ---not only is that beyond disrespectful to the people who died that day for no reason, but also to everyone here at Virginia Tech. maybe you should think about the fact that 32 innocent lives were taken that day for no reason, on a college campus. no one could have imagined someone coming into there classroom and opening fire. not to mention of those 32 victims, a number of them were of different races. So before you make some snide comment about white people getting shot, get your facts straight. for everyone else who has respected this incident and for supporting our community, THANK YOU! neVer forgeT

[re=1964324]Re: GetRealPeople[/re] You obviously do not go to Virginia Tech or know anything about our community. We have been united everyday since April 16th, 2007. There is not a day that goes by that we don't think of our 32. Many, many groups and organizations have been started since then and still continue... Like VT Engage which has performed more than 500,000 community service hours in memory of those we lost. So what have you done? And for those leaving horrible, hurtful comments.. What exactly is your purpose? If you have a cause stand up for it and do something. Don't try to insult us and our school because people cared about what happened here. We made people care.
