I believe Cynthia Nixon posing for the cover of More magazine is nothing to be ashamed of. Although the magazine is geared towards women who are over forty and is not just some other fashion, make up, and relationship advice based magazine, it is devoted to women's health and wellness. Especially after her announcement that she secretly suffered from breast cancer two years ago, it is fitting that she pose for the cover of a women's health magazine. She has decided to become an advocate for the Susan J. Komen breast cancer foundation to preach awareness and help raise funds for prevention research. From a PR point of view, I believe this is the best possible light for her to portray her image. She looks beautiful and not trashy. Also it is important that she is not just posing for some other type of "sellout" celebrity gossip magazine. She is promoting her image as a women's health advocate and trying to get her message about breast cancer heard. Also, since she is over forty, it is impressive that she is acting her age, unlike so many celebrities out there. She is appreciating her age, and going with it.

the thing is…she wont NEED work after the movie comes out. Sex and the City is the visual bible for women. Every female can relate to one of those four fabulous women and the box office revenue will gaurentee she will never have to look for work again. Kudos to Nixon for being just as fabulous as the character she portrays!

Perez, you sure misread your audience on this one. Scrolling through the comments indicates that nearly everybody thinks Cynthia is great, and her age irrelevant. Your bitchy, camp, gay act is starting to get a little old and tired itself. And you are no oil painting yourself.

Cynthia is an amazing actor and person, i have great respect for her. She was the first person to ever appear in 2 broadway musicals at the same time as a teenager.. i bet you know very little about her life.

Ok let me start by saying NO, I do not buy or read MORE mag yet, [although I should've because even though I look like I'm in my late 20s…I will be 41 this yr & they run a contest to become a model for "us old chicks" who didn't do it yrs ago], I really don't see what's wrong with her doing this cover…She looks great & I'm sure there are millions of women who do read that mag who love her & sex & the city. Be it because they are remembering their youth…living vicariously through their escapades, or because they are STILL fabulous & getting it done. Sometimes I feel like you have slow days where there's not enough for you to bitch about to pump yourself up so you just wig out & completely rag on someone FOR NOTHING. You know you could actually exercise more on those days=>instead. JUST A SUGGESTION. Ta ta
