Im going to clear up Alicias comments once and for all. She said that the government created gangsta rap , and started the east coast west coast beef as a scapegoat or reason to justify 2pacs murder.Let me start with the explanation for the Gangsta Rap, hip hop is a product of the ghetto, where blacks and latinos used djing, breaking, graffiti and rap to express themselves about the conditions of their communities.I.E Grandmaster Flash "the message".Its early rap thats super political. All thrughout the 80s the majority of rap was political i.e Rakim, Krs One,iCE T, P. ENEMY. Then Came NWA…THE FIRST ACT COINED AS "GANGSTA rAP". NWA was not saying anything different then those pre mentioned rappers. The person who created this group was a zionist jEW with political connects named Jerry Heller ..rap was not his specialty in the music biz so someone must have instructed him to sign NWA for some reason.He gave them their image as hardcore gangsters. Guys like Ice cube and Dr. Dre were the farthest thing from gangsta. Those guys ended up cheated by Heller who became mega rich. The only person stopping heller from all the money was Eazy E.What happened to him?? Why are people over-reacting to this? Who cares, she got the gist of it right. The book above talks about how the firearms industry decided in the 80's that they'd "exhausted the demographic" of rural white males whom they were used to marketing guns to and decided to go after the "urban black youth" market, the author got internal company memos explicitly stating this. I don't think that gov't necessarily pushed the 'gangsta rap' enterprise (though they irrefutably funneled coke into the inner cities via the Iran-contra affair during Reagan, so they are just as culpable for the rise of violence and the image) but I do think Madison Avenue/corporate America is guilty of pushing it, and those corps are all run by the same rich republicans that back people like Bush, Reagan, etc so it's all the same.
How about spending more time crucifying people for conspiracy theories that get tons of people killed, like the one about Iraq having anything to do with the attacks on 9/11, than chastising a black American for connecting thee dots
