Pssht Chace Crawford's character? Gay? With Serena and Blair all over him? nahh.

It's Ed Westwick, the guy with the totally unexpected (yet sexy) british accent who plays dickwahd, Chuck Bass. (He's the guy who wants all the girls, and gets none.)

He even gets a fun little monkey to carry around!

Oh, that's right, I forgot momentarily about how Dan was confused about his sexuality in the books…but of course in the books, Dan was an ENTIRELY different person…he kissed Serena ONCE when she was drunk, and other than that, they had no relationship whatsoever. He just fantasized and stalked her. She didn't even know of his existence. LOL I remember how Dan's mom came home in the books and his family threw him a "coming out" party. That was great. And in the books Dan was a completely hopeless, unattractive dork that chain-smoked and like, dressed in all black and just wrote poetry all day. Unlike his character in the show, who is maybe kinda awkward and shy, but is totally hot and DID manage to land Serena. So obviously they are not following every storyline in the book, which means that just because Chuck was the one that was gay (or really THOUGHT to be gay) in the books, doesn't necessarily mean that they'll make it that way on the show.

If they are basing it on the books, then the gay character will be Chuck, because in the book, Chuck does end up being gay. It certainly isn't going to be Nate or Dan. Unless they're referring to a gay female character (which the proper term is actually lesbian, but whatever)…I could see Jenny being a lesbian, or maybe Vanessa. Who knows, maybe Dan and Serena will break up momentarily and Serena and Vanessa will have a thing (sorta like when Marissa and Ryan broke up on the OC and Marissa and Alex got together!) I really hope it's not Chuck, though. I just love him and Blair together and I love what a prick he is to girls. LOL. It's horrible but come on, every girl knows they love a bad boy.
