In response to #318 - you were realllly trying hard to take offense at what I said. I didn't say anything at all that could even mildly be construed as being defamatory toward gays. I was speaking toward the unfounded rumors. Do yourself a favor and please re-read the post and calm down.

I know a friend of GB's from Glasgow who lives here in NYC. This guy friend is gay and he has said to me and a bunch of other people any time they ask about these stupid rumors that persist in the gay community that, "Gerard Butler is not gay, or bi-sexual. He is straight." He's known GB all his life. I also have a girl friend who lives in LA who met GB back when he was just starting out yrs ago and he was making the tv miniseries "Attila". She slept with him during that time. She said he was funny, kind, a real "teddy bear type," and a total ladies man. At that time had no reason to worry about any alleged sexuality 'quirks' effecting his stardom one way or the other b/c he wasn't famous. He was sleeping with a lot of women. He totally dumped my girlfriend, but she couldn't hate him b/c he was so "affectionate and lovable." Then I met him briefly in NYC while he was promoting the Phantom movie and he tried to pick me up! Did wonders for my confidence, lol. He's smart, has a quick, sharp wit, and was really nice to his crazy fans. He's anything but gay folks. Don't believe the crap. And Cameron Diaz . . . if he's really doing LA-wreck, well then I choose to hope it'll be over very soon. What a mess: her hair, her skin, her brain. Yick.

Coming from a good looking 35 year old gay man, Gerard is with out a doubt the hottest man alive!… and even though I wish he were gay, if he is truly 100% straight, then I wish him all the best… but Cameron Diaz… please.. he can do so much better!!

This is a reply to "Becky" in comment #136)?…You said he was on Leno and other shows where he yelled "This is Sparta." This is a lie…I've seen every talk show done in America: Leno, DeGeneres, Ferguson, the View, O'Brien..and he NEVER yelled this. I remember seeing a clip of a little known Canadian show where he was asked to yell it. He hesitated, and then with a mocking grin and a giggle, he did as the interviewer asked. You =thought no one would know your lies.

]As to him being gay…people have said that about all handsome men in Hollywood. Clooney,Pitt, McConaghey, ..I don't think you should equate hanging out with the same sex as in the restaurant comment would constitute anything…
