Even after a four-year absence and a courageous battle against cancer, Kylie Minogue's appetite for pop perfection remains undimmed. Indeed, her 10th studio album X is stuffed with pointers as to why she's one of the few pure pop artists to sustain a career into a third decade without ever pulling a Britney. The hip producers (Calvin Harris, Bloodshy & Avant) and heavy-hitting songwriters (Guy Chambers, Cathy Dennis) are all present and correct, but they never overshadow Minogue's perky/ saucy pop/dance formula. You'll search in vain for insight into her recent personal traumas, but there's still plenty of heart and soul and, in the shape of "Sensitized," "In My Arms," "The One" and lead single "Two Hearts," her best batch of tunes in a while. A truly welcome return.—

Re: mel – I adore Kylie but have to agree that this was a pretty poor performance. It's disappointing as she is usually so good live. I have seen her in concert twice & she CAN sing. Check out YouTube.

Not sure why such a crap song has been chosen as her first release as I thought it was the worst on the album. She should have stuck to the pure pop 'classic Kylie' tunes which reflect her exuberant personality or jazzy numbers which she always pulls off well & showcases her strong vocals. And why she was wearing that get up, who knows. Kylie really isn't doing herself any favours.

She really wasn't THAT bad. I dunno, I liked it. She's not the greatest singer in the world but she has stage presence. She seems like a cool person, she's got a nice vibe.

Kylie is great, a true superstar! Thanks for posting these Perez. She looked fierce during 'Head'. I don't care what any haters say, I think she was good and so did the crowd, they went wild. Look how they gave her a standing ovation! Love you Kylie xox

I didn't like 'All I See' very much - it's just a forgettable song and she didn't sing it well. It wasn't as bad as some of you are saying, but nothing special. 'Can't Get You Out Of My Head' was great though - great song, great performance. I was really impressed with her vocals on that, it's not an easy song to sing live. At least she has the integrity to sing live, unlike most US "stars".

As a life long Kylie fan I do have to admit, that was in no way a good vocal performance from her on "All I See". It's a shame, because most people on this site are so keen to knock her. I've seen her in every live concert she's ever done, and I can, hand on my heart say that 90% of the time her vocals have been great; strong, full and in tune. Sadly, and it is very sad because so much is riding on this US promotion of "X", this performance was bad. As for the hair - it isn't actually a wig, but does look like it. Since her cancer treatment, her hair is a bundle more thicker than it used to be. It does look wig-like, I agree, but it isn't.
