I met this man, and believe me - he lives up to the hype.
One of the nicest, most appreciative actors around.

But seriously, some of you people take what he says way too seriously. He's got a sarcastic humour about him, and he does enjoy being an enigma.

Your reference that only "gay" people are aware of Rosemary Clooney and that her connections to Hollywood do not give Clooney an edge over other 47 year old high school graduates in the business then you are very wrong and do not know Hollywood culture.

Re: barf – Yea, Rosemary Clooney was well known for opening a lot of doors for modern day TV & movie stars. Check your head Barfy. 99% of George's followers don't even know who Rosemary Clooney was except for maybe you and your gays.
Although she was a big name in the 40's and 50's she didn't exactly have a lot of pull in Hollywood dummy. Christ she was hawking paper towels on TV in the 70's so yea you're probably right, I bet she really opened a lot of doors for George.

I met GC several years ago at the club where I worked as a cocktail waitress. He is truly one of the nicest people I have ever met. He actually introduced himself to me saying, "Hi. I'm George." He tipped huge, bought me shots, and signed an autograph for my mom. Of all the celebs out there- George Clooney is the coolest.
