you're asking why jeff buckley's version is number 2? i ask why the fuck are you asking that? he took leonard cohen's version and made it his own. buckley was an incredible artist who was taken from us too soon. anyone who questions why his music is in demand KNOWS NOTHING ABOUT GOOD MUSIC. that's just fucking disrespectful.

Listen to Jeff Buckley's Live at Sine version of Hallelujah. Maybe then you'd realize how awesomely moving and beautiful it is.

Jeff Buckley was a genius. PERIOD.
He had the voice of an Angel.

-KD Lang's version has absolutely NOTHING on Jeff Buckley's one. OR on Leonard Cohens version for that matter.
