Even DeNiro was a sucky SNL host…not that Ellen Page is the new Deniro or anywhere near it, but SNL hosting ability is not really a valid barometer for lack of talent.

But that sketch? I do think it was her way of subtly sending the message of her sexuality…what I like about it though is that for once homosexuality isn't the punchline. SNL rarely does sketches about real people doing real things so this was refreshing.

i'm so glad you noticed this! i saw that skit and immediately knew that she was trying to say something. it's completely obvious that she's gay, and i think it's great. she would definately be an amazing role model if she came out.
