conan SUCKS the big one. he isn't close to funny. he is annoying. its bad enough jay replaced johnny because he isn't funny either but conan??? come on. the guy is a hack. i vote for sandra bernhardt instead! FAT chance!

Conan is not funny??? He talks about himself all the time when he is interviewing guests. He uses the same old hair jokes and the weird jumping and clapping his hands and making faces at the camera. He is the worst of two worlds, he acts like a mime who is also a bad talking stand-up comic. His jokes are rarely funny - with our without writers. Leno is not perfect (same old Hilary & Bill jokes, fat jokes) and he is not a good interviewer - says "OK" too often. He has a pretty good stand-up monologue at the beginning and some funny bits - always more interesting than the celebrity interviews. He is much more entertaining than Conan. If Conan gets the Tonight show, I will watch Letterman instead.

He gets the big stars and the ratings, but he is PAINFULLY unfunny, and his writers are the worst in the biz.

Conan O'Brien will be the downfall of the 50+ year popularity of "The Tonight Show". Letterman will triumph. Forcing Leno to leave was sheer stupidity on NBC's part. Leno has maintained the dominance in that time slot. I have watched Conan's show and have not found it funny at all. I tune over to Craig Ferguson, who is hilarious. I give Conan 5 years as the host of "The Tonight Show" before he is replaced. Leno will succeed in whatever he does, and when Letterman retires, Craig Ferguson, who has the best monologues in late night, will replace him. Have you ever noticed that after almost every joke, Conan says 'yeah', it's annoying. After all these years, you would think that he would have mastered the telling of jokes. NBC thinks Conan will bring in a younger audience. Are they in for a surprise.
