Brockton is the most violent suburb of Boston, are you kidding? I would rather walk down the street in Northie in the middle of the night with a flashing sign that says "Mug Me" than drive through Brockton in a tank. Not that bad, what are you buying coke from Bobby Brown?

Brockton is bad but it's not that bad and it's no where as nice as the other city and towns around it. i'd be more afraid of Hepatitus than getting shot.
there is one amazing thing about brockton; for some DELICIOUS italian food you gotta go down to Georges cafe! the sauce is amazing and i could drink the parm pep dressing by the bottle. on tuesdays they got this special where you can get a pound of pasta, sauage and meatballs with chicken cutlets and garlic bread for like 12 bucks!

Thank you for actually saying something intelligent. I've lived in Brockton for over 20 years. Brockton does have it's problems, but it is not a "VIOLENCE-PLAGUED" city as Perez states. It's a large city with violence. It is unfortunate and upsetting about the recent crime that has erupted in Brockton and the city is desperately trying to fix and patrol more. Just the other day Brockton arrested dozens. We are setting up our police force and we will hopefully turn around our city. Calling it violence-plagued is ridiculous and unnecessary… almost as unnecessary as having Bobby Brown mentor our youth.

Unfortunately, Perez stooped down to the level of The Enterprise & the Globe. Instead of smashing Brockton why not mention it's positives… Like having Brockton High School being picked as a model school for THE COUNTRY.
