Chris, I doubt Jake wears colored contacts. Blue eyes can change shades depending on what the person is wearing. If Jake is wearing something with grey, his eyes will look more grey. If he is wearing something green or brown his eyes will appear a bit darker. Blue eyes do that because they are light. Look it up.

I presume you refer to the colored contacts I suspect he wears. Whenever I have seen his eyes "au naturel" they looked grey-ish to me.
