Recording artists have tracks written for them ALL THE TIME and, yes, the singer tends to get a little more credit than the writer.
Kind of like the actors in a movie - you don't hear the scriptwriter getting all the credit either?

Anyway, she has a very powerful voice and the comparisons to Whitney Houston and Mariah Carey are pretty accurate if you've actually seen her on X-Factor.
This girl will be HUGE.

You guys do know that Jesse McCartney and some other dude wrote Bleeding Love right? She's getting all the credit when it was supposed to be on Jesse's album but he gave it to her showing how great he is not how good she is.

Also nobody buys singles anymore so the charts are a shit reference, only kids go out and buy CDs and everypne else just downloads.
