Re: Degrading – Alright, well I believe you are trying to say that this woman is degrading herself as well for sleeping with this man who is knowingly in a relationship, & therefore she is allowing this man (who is in somewhat of a higher position of power than her, due to his financial as well as public standing) to degrade her. If THAT is what you were attempting to say then of course, I completely agree with you. Women have the right not to be degraded & women also have the responsibility not to degrade themselves.

However, if you are trying to stand up for women you are doing a very poor job of it. First off, your use of the word “male slut”: This implies that one needs to specify that it is a male, because otherwise one should assume that a slut is automatically a woman (this ties in with the whole double standard issue in our society). A slut, is a slut, is a slut. It transcends gender.

Second, you say it is a horrible thing for a woman to sleep with a man if she knows that the man has a girlfriend. I never said otherwise, but what I WAS implying was that Buble was just as much as at fault, if not more because he is the one IN the relationship.

As for the whole: “whore hungry women” & rock star/weight comments …. I’ll be honest and say that I have no clue what you are talking about, maybe you could clarify their meaning and/or significance in this discussion.
