Though I applaud what Madonna is doing, I have to ask, what about the kids in the U.S.? There are homeless kids, orphans, kids that are hungry, etc…did nobody read about the 12 yr. old boy who died because of an impacted tooth?
While it's commendable and great that they want to fix another countries issues, when will these powerful, rich celebs start fixing the kids here in the U.S., the country where they made their fame and fortune?

when these celebs start living on my working class salary, trying to raise my own kids, fill my tank up and put groceries ont he table then I will be able to think about other charities. I admire their work but at the end of a week I have no money. I do not have cable or spend crazy money and still find myself in a bind.

Re: Ziggy – You know what Ziggy - both Asia & South America have had to deal with what you call 'unfair trade agreements' etc, etc but they've realised that no one owes them anything - they've got up off their backsides & got on with things. Yet no matter how much help Africa gets, they can't seem to achieve anything. Every continent except Africa has an ancient & advanced civilisation (eg. Incas in South America) Africa? NOTHING, absolutely nothing. What have they spent the last two thousand years doing with themselves??
