I don't expect the Hogans to be all the depressed for the rest of there lives, but they need to show some type of remorse because what happened is a very serious matter. There is a guy in the hospital who will most likely never be the same. The fact that the guy did not have his seatbelt on should have made Nic think that maybe he should not drink and drive or better yet race, or before he began to race he should have told his friend hay you need to put on your seatbelt cuz I'm bout to race this dude.
