It was private conversation that DOG had with his son and is should remained a priviate conversation. We ALL say things when we angry and maybe DOG over reacted to the situation. Give the man a break he has turned his entire life around and does more good then bad. He made a mistake and guess what we ALL make mistakes. We are supposed to practice forgive for one another. Look at the big picture about what he represents. He tries to give support and guidance to every person who crosses his path.

He is obviously very truly and deeply sorry for what's happened; I for one believe that he was just trying to get his son to break up with a girl that he didn't approve of and thought would try to ruin his career (hmm and he was right ). I never for once believe that he was trying to use that term as a way to belittle others, people use slang all the time (especially people who have spent alot of time around criminals).

It was not a mistake, it was a private conversation and what he said was truth, straight from the heart. He was angered, it was just a conversation, so he can save all the fakeness. If anything, keep it real, if you do not like blacks, then you just don't; but do not try to pretend like he did not mean it.

It's sad that so many of you are posting about how everyone talks this way behind closed doors. Well you know what? That's a lie. I never talk that way about other races nor have I ever told someone they shouldn't date someone because of their race. Who gives a shit who dates whom? And it's not normal to go on rants about other races and spit vile like that. There's no excuse and it's not ok. You all just want to make excuses for your own racism but you're just sorry pieces of shit if you think it's ok to be prejudiced against anyone.

I watched the whole interview. I have never really watched his show or been a fan, but he seemed really sincere. Nobody is perfect in life, why do we try to crucify people when are all guilty of not being totally PC all the time. We are so quick to throw a stone, just begging for our own glass house to be shattered.

I dont feel that dog is a racist. he was simply having a private conversation with his SON telling him more or less we say the N word once in a while and he did not want to slip when the girlfriend was around and her get offended and retaliate and go sell her story to someone and ruin his career. I feel that Blacks think they can call each other the N word and say racist remarks to other races and it's ok. I DON"T THINK SO… you dont see any other race crying every time someone call them a racist name. and why is that because they know they are not those racist names. GET OVER IT AND STOP CRYING!!!!!!!! if you know your not one than SHUT THE F*** UP….. Let DOG do his job and get all those CRIMINALS off the street.
