Re: Say What? – …So because a satirical comic may or may not be "in character" taking opportunity upon opportunity to bash homosexuals (in his book, which is not subject to network censorship), that makes him respectable and hilarious. I'm not gay, and wasn't personally offended by the remarks made IN HIS BOOK, however there were several instances where I said, out loud, "If I were gay, I'd be seriously offended by these statements." Since you've proven that you haven't read the book, which is specifically what I was referencing, TO PEREZ, my statement really wasn't open to your opinions.

Re: Molly – I've watched Colbert since he was a new correspondent on The Daily Show and am familiar with his work in "Strangers With Candy." Seriously, the character "Stephen Colbert" who is a egomaniacal conservative jerk is a parody and Stephen Colbert, the person, is quite different. Which one is running for president is a good question, though. The two intermingle, even on his show.

Re: Say What? – From what I can tell you're agreeing with me. I thought the book was hilarious, as I also believe Colbert is hilarious. I wouldn't find him to be hilarious if I were gay however. Also- if you aren't agreeing with me, than you clearly haven't read his book. And, if you were trying to pull a quote to agree with me, you pulled a weak one. There was much more insulting garb…
