He is also at that sort of awkward stage where he is too old for teenagers and young adults, but has a hard time passing as a seasones guy. I think his role in Black Dahlia where, as a cop, he was partenered with Aaron Eckhardt captures that nicely which is not a compliment. He is starring in a Biopic of the late, incrediblly talented Chet Baker. The project has big money and big talent attached. Possible breakout role of the "serious actor" type.
