Actually, she won a talent contest judged by the entire population of the United States. Not that that matters. So did Taylor Hicks and some girl from Arizona.

However, she has won two Grammy awards. They don't just give those out.

As for My December, "Don't Waste Your Time" is a perfectly radio friendly hit. "Never Again" was already top ten on the Hot 100. "Sober" is my favorite song on the album, but is also not radio friendly. It doesn't even have a chorus! "Breakaway" was a lot more fun, but "My December" is more honest.

Right, so after fighting for My December Kelly's gonna back down now? Very doubtful. She took the high road and apologised (unnecessarily) and all of a sudden she's making a new record? Oh yeah, and for the billionth frickin' time, she CAN write amazing songs. Even if you don't like any of the My December tracks, she wrote 'Behind These Hazel Eyes', 'Because of You' and 'Walkaway' amoung others off her previous album.

My December is her best album yet! It's my favourite album of all time! 10 years from now, people will look back and blame Clive and the press for talking crap about this album and not promoting it! My December deserves a fair chance. Kelly fought for this album! She loves it and it is a true fan's favourite! Kelly said it herself that she needed this album for herself! She'd do whatever "they" want on the next CD if My December is release! So no suprise that she's working on her 4th CD. It's just too soon. I mean My December is just a MONTH old! My December and Kelly deserve some promotion in the US and the rest of the world! If you would just sit down and listen to it, it's gonna be one of the best compare to what you hear on the radio nowadays! Don't let the media and what other people say make an opinion for you! You have a brain so listen to the album and say what you HONESTLY think about it!

Yeah, SHAME on those record execs for wanting an album that actually SELLS. Since Clive Davis has FORGOTTEN more than most people EVER know about music, I'm gonna go with Clive's judgement. Since that man has been finding and giving us some of the biggest stars in the industry's history, whomever it was that said he doesn't bring new talent into the biz obviously doesn't have a clue. Maybe if she had taken some advice and allowed someone to tweak her songs, they'd have been better, and this whole series of missteps could have been avoided.
